Setup Challenge Terms
Effective and last updated: September 2, 2026
Contract version: setup-terms-2026-09-02
This is the version RaidReady sells the Setup Challenge under today. Your purchase is governed by the version you accepted at checkout: if you bought under an earlier version, that exact copy is kept with your purchase and is the one that applies to you. Read the contract you accepted.
These product-specific terms supplement the RaidReady Terms of Service. If the two conflict about the Setup Challenge, these Setup Terms control.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract where you live. By purchasing, claiming access, or using the Setup Challenge, you agree to these Setup Terms and acknowledge the versioned Setup Challenge Privacy Notice. The Setup Challenge v1 supports Twitch only. Kick and YouTube completion are not supported.
2. Merchant, price, payment, and delivery
The merchant legal name, civic/postal address, public phone, and support email shown inside Stripe Checkout before payment is submitted form part of your purchase contract and are frozen separately in it. The Setup Challenge costs USD $9 as a standalone one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. It is not a bundle and is not credit toward the Go-Live Challenge. Stripe Checkout uses a pinned Payment Method Configuration for cards and card-backed wallets; delayed payment methods are not offered. Stripe processes payment; RaidReady does not store the full card number or card security code. Digital access is provisioned after RaidReady receives a valid payment confirmation and is delivered through the buyer's RaidReady account and transactional email.
3. What the Setup Challenge includes
The Setup Challenge is a seven-day self-paced learning challenge covering PC and OBS setup, audio, camera, and scenes. It includes one private Day-6 OBS Stats screenshot upload and one self-reported 60-minute Twitch stream on Day 7. Day-6 completion means a valid private screenshot was received; it is not founder review or approval, and nobody grades your setup. Each day explains its required work and evidence. Because the challenge is self-paced, you choose when to work through each day.
4. Voluntary refund promise
You may request a full refund for any reason within seven calendar days after the charge, through the in-product refund action or at support@raidready.app. Approved refunds are processed manually to the original payment method; the bank or card issuer controls when the credit appears. An approved full refund revokes Setup Challenge access when the refunded purchase granted that access. Refunding an extra duplicate charge that did not grant access leaves the original purchase and its access unchanged. After a refund or revocation you keep the ability to settle your challenge run (record its final outcome), submit a refund claim, and open or continue a payment dispute. Access to paid content ends; your consumer-protection actions do not. A dispute on a Setup charge closes Setup access while a human reviews it. Duplicate charges and provider or service failures may be reviewed outside the seven-day window. RaidReady retains the minimum payment, consent, legal, and refund audit records needed to prove and reconcile each transaction. This voluntary policy does not limit mandatory or statutory rights that apply where you live.
5. Access, account security, and conduct
Access is personal and may not be resold or shared. Sign-in links are personal, single-use, and time-limited; do not forward them. You are responsible for protecting your email, RaidReady session, and Twitch account, and for contacting support promptly if a link or account may have been compromised. You remain responsible for your equipment, internet connection, Twitch account, stream content, music rights, moderation, and safety choices, and for following Twitch's rules.
6. Third-party services
Twitch, Stripe, OBS, and other services have their own terms and privacy practices. RaidReady is not endorsed by them and does not control their changes, outages, moderation decisions, or account restrictions. If Twitch restricts your account or a service you need is unavailable, contact support so a reasonable path can be found where the product supports one.
7. AI-assisted tools
Some Setup Challenge tools use an AI provider to generate suggestions, such as channel-panel drafts and artwork briefs. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. You must review them before publishing or acting. You remain responsible for final content and platform actions. A provider failure may produce a manual fallback.
8. Acceptable use
Do not break applicable law or platform rules; share access; create deceptive payment, screenshot, or self-report evidence; automate abuse; interfere with the service or another user; harass or impersonate; distribute malware; or publish content that infringes another person's rights.
9. Content and intellectual property
RaidReady owns its software, branding, challenge structure, and original materials. Your channel, your content, and your screenshot remain yours. You give RaidReady limited permission to process your submitted screenshot, self-report, and connected channel details only as needed to operate the Setup Challenge, verify progress, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
10. Availability and result limits
The Setup Challenge is provided on an as-available basis. RaidReady does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and does not promise audience, revenue, Twitch Affiliate status, hardware performance, or any other result. Maintenance, security incidents, and provider outages may interrupt access; contact support so a reasonable access path can be restored.
11. Suspension and termination
RaidReady may suspend access needed to protect users, payment integrity, or the service, or after a material breach of these terms. This does not remove non-waivable consumer rights. Sections concerning payments, refunds, intellectual property, liability, privacy, and disputes survive where their nature requires it.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaidReady is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss. Aggregate liability for a claim connected to the Setup Challenge will not exceed the greater of the amount paid for the Setup Challenge or CAD $50. Nothing excludes liability or a consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow RaidReady to exclude.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Contact support first to seek an informal resolution. Subject to mandatory law, disputes are heard in courts located in Montreal, Quebec.
14. Changes and contact
RaidReady may update these terms for future purchases. Material changes do not retroactively remove an already-earned refund right. The effective date and contract version identify the terms in force for this purchase. Questions, access trouble, and refund requests: support@raidready.app.
